MAC today opened registration to new members for the 2021-2022 season. Tryouts are underway and the club is booking assessments for its pre-competitive Olympic Prospects program. MAC swimmer Tessa Cieplucha has been named to Canada's Olympic Swimming Team and will be competing at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo Japan, July 23-August 8, 2021. Tessa swam the Women's 400m IM at the 2020 (2021) Canadian Olympic Swimming Trials in a time of 4:37.26, taking over 1.5 seconds off her previous best and beating the Olympic A qualifying time of 4:38.53. Tessa was one of nine incredible MAC swimmers who competed at the Canadian Olympic Swimming Trials at the Toronto Pan Am Centre, June 19-23.

MAC groups registered in the 2020-2021 season returned to training for outdoor summer programming at Camp Robin Hood and City of Markham Morgan Pool on June 14, 2021. After over three months away from the pool, swimmers and coaches were excited to get back into the water.
