Parents Guide to Long Term Athlete Development
Description:
- This squad consists of swimmers who are 11-12 years old and are Provincial, Festival and Central Region "B" Qualified qualified or above.
- Swimmers in this squad will be striving towards Provincial Qualification
Pre-requisite:
- Be 11-12 years of age as of October 31, 2023
- Be Provincial, Festival or Central Region "B" Qualified.
- Have a high commitment to long term goals.
Expectations:
- Swimmers will arrive on deck on time for activation protocol.
- Swimmers will have all required training equipment at every practice.
- Swimmers will attend all scheduled practices to the best of their ability with a 90% expectation.
- Swimmers will attend all scheduled competitions as outlined for the group.
- Swimmers will conduct themselves with highest level of professionalism at all practices and swim meets.
- Swimmers will represent the Markham Aquatic with pride by wearing required Team Wear at all meets without exception.
